It's also a good thing she didn't think the waitress was asking her. They might have ran off together and YOU would have lived happily ever after! J/K congrats!

So last night I took the girl whom I've been seeing out to dinner. We ate and right after we got done I said I was going to use the bathroom. I got up and found our waitresses, and handed her a note. After talking for a second she agreed to put the note in the checkbook and make sure Rachael (the girl whom I was seeing) got it and not me. Well the waitress did what she was supposed to. When Rachael opened the check, she got red in the face, smiled, and said yes...to being my girlfriend that is. That ladies and gentleman is the story of how I asked my girlfriend out. On a different note, I fixed the power Windows in my truck. First time they have worked properly in over a year and a half You totally stole that idea from The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Cool. Just gotta make sure she never sees that movie. Which should be pretty easy to do unless she's 10. --DFA

Arg. Alive but barley. Mom and I got into it a while back, so I moved out. Hence the whole being dead thing. I think the motor in my truck is gonna go again...developed a nasty valve tick after I changed my oil on Sunday. I switched from Penzoil High Mileage 5w30 non synthetic to Lucas 5w30 non synthetic. Odd... However, starter is fixed, radiator and fun clutch I did a while ago. Bought the swaybar linkage, just need a torch to remove what is left of the old. I'm think of running this motor into the ground and building a 4.0 in the meantime. Idk I'm tired of the lack of power...maybe a 5.0 down the line, just keep moving up one liter at a time (^ see what I did there?) If I do a 4.0, convert the rear to disc, beef up the rear leafs, throw some 4:10's in there and call it a day...then build another truck and keep that as my DD. Also found out my grandfather on my dads side has 10acers in a VERY nice area. He doesn't live on it. The land has 2 houses on it. An old mill house and another one witch needs some tlc.. Oh and did I mention the 4 car garage? Yea, so I'm gonna try and rent that. Maybe eventually buy. Lately I have been working, seeing the gf, romping around in the trucks and on the bikes, and sleeping and eating somewhere inbetween. Hope all is well with everyone. I still log on everyother day or so on here.

Oh hi. I'm still around. Here is what's been going on in my life :
Just replaced the clutch in my truck. I blew the pressure plate apart (I think I drive it a little to hard) so had to replace everything. All in all I'm about $1200 into the drivetrain this year. Have parts on order for the front end as we speak. 4Th front end rebuild in 43k miles.. lol.
Hope all is well with everyone!

So I rebuilt the front suspension about a month ago. Balljoints (Top and Bottom, Driver and Passenger Side) Upper Control Arms Upper Control Arm Bushings Swaybar link. Replaced both hubs. The one had bad bearings, and when I got about 100ft from my house, "BAM, CRASH, CLUNK!!!" wheel fell off. I'll grab a pic from facebook, but all those shiny bearings fell out. Destroyed my CV axle. So on the side of the road, jacked the truck up, took off the brakes, disconnected the steering knuckle from both the top and lower balljoint, ripped out the old CV axle and installed the new one... Did it in an hour with basic hand tools on the side of the road However my 4Wd doesn't work. Well, it does, but I don't want to use it. Both axle seals are leaking, and the pinion seal, so it has virtually no fluid in it. Going to replace the seals and the axle bearings. My rear is also trashed...the new one that I got with 44k miles on it. So I'm going to rip that 7.5inch Ford CRAP rear out, and put in an 8.8. Going to weld the axle tubes and make a brace with a skid plate. That way when I jump it, I don't have to worry about twisting the tubes or "V-ing" the axle. Oh, and I need tires. And gears. And lockers. And a motor. And 14inches of suspension travel in the front. jkasdgfkasdhkjasdjpasdug
