Updates to CSS Server

The CSS server fell victim to the dreaded "The server you are trying to connect to is running an older version of the game" error. Ugh.

The only cure is to wipe out the server and re-install everything. Just what I wanted to do on my vacation day. Plus, it's supposed to get up to 60 today. At least I have a window.

With gameservers I just push a button to update steam. Sometimes it takes a minute to update .

So, it's been 2 1/2 hours since I started the "update." It's at 98.99% now. I can think of a button I'd like to push right about now.....

P.S. Between the website and the CSS server, I don't think I've actually played a game of any kind this month.

For those keeping score, it has been five hours. It's now at 84.7%. Yes, it went backwards.

OK, it's exactly 12 hours since I started the update. It's done. Yay!

Nobody told me that Valve no longer uses the "orangebox" folder anymore. DAMMIT. That was like 5 hours of work right there. It woulda saved me a lot of time if I had figured that out earlier.

The CSS Server now has a full slate of bots (who drop out as humans join) so you will never be bored or lonely.
